Barcelona is an enticing and delightful city to both live in and visit. It is great to see that tourists and Barcelonians alike take advantage and appreciate the amazing sights that Barcelona has to offer.
Poble Espanyol |
Since its inception, the Poble Espanyol has been considered one of Barcelona’s unique attractions. Its layout – a real village with a diversity of streets and squares, free of traffic and surrounded by nature – has helped create a special microcosm where art, leisure and culture play a prominent role.
La Pedrera |
La Pedrera was constructed to house apartments and offices however the owner had difficulty renting the apartments because prospective tenants thought they would have problems furnishing the rooms as they were irregularly shaped.
La Pedrera is now a museum and is open to the public for viewing and tours
L'Aquarium de Barcelona |
L’Aquàrium de Barcelona is a unique leisure facility that has already been visited by more than 14 million people.
At L’Aquàrium de Barcelona, as well as the tanks and the displays, you can enjoy the different services: cafeteria/ self-service, L’Aquàrium shop, souvenir photo, the auditorium and many more.
Barcelona Zoo |
The zoo is a great way to spend the day with a selection of picnic areas and a fantastic wooden rope and play park for kids. As well as the petting zoo, pony rides are also on offer. On Saturdays and during school holidays, children can also take part in one of the many zoo workshops. One way to take advantage of the zoo and its activities throughout the year is family membership to the Zoo Club. Two adults and two children can visit as often as they please for an entire year all for a one-off payment.
